Continuing the story from our This is ‘Me’ collection and ‘Save’ ‘Earth’ collection the narrative continues with our most popular pieces being remade in mix of recycled carbon fibre and marine plastics.
Sourced and made the UK the Carbon Fibre filament is called Orca and comes from a mix of sources like damaged Formula 1 cars and marine plastic is from the fishing port of Newlyn on the Cornish coast, where we work directly with the supplier, each design is 3D printed locally, then hand finishing in Zoe’s South London studio.
Orca helps to clear up our oceans and combat carbon fibre being a waste material when damaged, is endlessly recyclable and extremely strong. Purchase one of these pieces you are helping to create a circular economy. You can read more about the story behind the ‘Save Earth’ collection here
We have combined this new material with our Symbols range. Symbols are recognisable all over the world, the heart being most recognised for love. I would like this collection to remind the wearer of love for oneself, with our single hearts, wear them stacked or our pairs and linked pieces to show and inspire all other types of love, connection and unity.
