We are excited to announce the collaboration between Zoe Sherwood and G.H.Bass & Co.
The heritage shoe brand G.H.Bass & Co are famous for their hand sewn Weejuns and Penny loafers. Established in 1876 they have been a strong favourite throughout history and worn by Andrey Hepburn to president JFK. A timeless classic the shoes are a firm favourite in England’s mod subculture to name but a few. Find out more about the shoes history here.
I love hand crafted classic accessories and clothing, I have been a fan and worn Weejuns for some time so you can imagine my excitement when I was asked by Bass if I would like to create 10 one of a kind pairs of shoes for them.
Zoe has incorporated her signature feathers and carefully chosen words to create the Birds & Words collection. See more about the collection here.
Zoe teamed up with photographer Owen Harvey to capture the Birds and Words collection.
Zoe will be releasing one image and pair of shoes for sale per week, on her website shop starting Thursday 2nd Nov 2017. The full collection will launch on Thursday 30th Nov 2017 at the G.H. The five remaining pairs of shoes will be released for sale on Zoe’s website on this date.
