The This Is ‘Me’ collection is about being yourself.
Zoe believes we should not shy away from the word ‘Me’. It should be seen less as a selfish word and more about empowerment. Embracing you, who you are and what you stand for.
Each ‘Me’ product carries the message, empowering the wearer to be oneself, This Is ‘Me’.
The product acts to reinforce and remind us who we are – I am ‘Me’, a reaffirmation.
Creating a statement of empowerment to the wearer: Confidence, Freedom, Expression.

Fun yet empowering, This Is ‘Me’ takes inspiration from story telling, finding and believing in yourself.
Zoe is inspired by words to create visual patterns. Repetition of ‘Me’ evokes thoughts of reproduction and growth as well as working with other individuals in unity.
Zoe blends a love of past eras and the flowing lines of art nouveau murals juxtaposed with urban wall art ‘tagging’ and graffiti. Zoe’s wearable empowering creations possess a sophisticated humour and passion for the individuals that make up the diverse world around her.

This started with her bespoke sculptural hand made headpieces (as WGSN commented on them at London Fashion Week in 2016) ‘conversational head ornaments’, the collection It’s All About followed by As Unique As You Are creating the foundations for This Is ‘Me’
The development of the This Is ‘Me’ collection has expanded from the original bespoke hand made headpieces (which will soon be available to order from our online shop soon,) to jewellery and ready to wear hair accessories. You can shop these online here. All of which carry the same story of self awareness, finding your identity, message of self love and empowering the wearer to be oneself.
The idea of self empowerment and love is reinforced in a poem Zoe wrote in 2009 and stands by:
“I am one of many,
I am one of few,
I am an individual
Just like you.”

“Let’s start a conversation with yourself and others.”
Zoe is undertaking a photography project to work along side the This Is ‘Me’ collection, entitled the same name. She is currently photographing people who she knows and finds inspirational, she photographs them wearing pieces from her This Is ‘Me’ collection. These images will be displayed alongside a quote from each of the individuals. Zoe has requested for the quote to be close to them, something they live by and or believe in. Something they have said/written or something someone else has. She will create blog posts with the resulting images and quotes.
