It is just over a month and a half since I’ve been back from New York, USA, where I showed at the Museum of Arts and Design contemporary jewellery show: MAD About Jewelry. What an amazing whirlwind 8 days it was!
From my work being displayed in the windows of MAD Museum of Arts and Design Store, to being interviewed on live morning TV, CBS News New York talking about the contemporary jewellery show and my work. You can watch the full interview with fellow jeweller Sara Barbanti and director of the MAD About Jewelry show Bryna Pomp here.
I had the pleasure of being featured in numerous online publications such as Harpers Bazaar US, Art Jewelry Forum to name but a few. I had the honour of being asked by MAD About Jewelry Committee member Michele Cohen to create a bespoke headpiece that says: ‘MAD Museum of arts and design’ on it. She wore this for the opening night Private View at MAD About Jewelry 2023.
I had the privilege of meeting over 50 fellow jewellers from all over the world, showing and selling my creations alongside each other. I was able to acquire many pieces by fellow artists that I adore wearing. You can see some of the highlights from the exhibition below.
I want to say a huge thank you to to Bryna Pomp and her fantastic supportive and welcoming team who’s work over the many month before and days during the show helped us all prepare for the fantastic event. I also want to thank all of the amazing people I met, fellow artists, jewellers, journalists, visitors and most importantly customers new and returning, I really enjoyed meeting and talking with you all.
I am also very happy to say that you can now find a selection of my pieces available in the MAD Museum of Arts and Design store in New York.
